    Summary

    Neonatal seizures (NS) can be electrical only, without clinical signs. This study found that 11 of 15 newborns had electrical-only neonatal seizures (ENSE), while 4 had both electrical and clinical seizures (ECNSE).

    • To characterize the presentation of neonatal seizures in a prospective cohort.
    • To differentiate between electrical-only neonatal seizures (ENSE) and those with clinical manifestations (ECNSE).
