Abstract:
The interaction between drugs and the immune system during cancer treatment is reviewed. Special attention is given to drug hypersensitivity. The selective activity of drugs on lymphocytes, the induction of new cell antigens, and the optimal schedule of treatment with immunointerfering drugs are discussed.
