Summary

This study investigated skin hypersensitivity to Staphylococcus aureus peptidoglycan in guinea pigs. Results show that 50 micrograms of peptidoglycan are needed for a distinct skin reaction, with delayed type hypersensitivity (DTH) developing after sensitization.
