Abstract:
Comprehensive care and continuity of care are often dependent upon cooperation and coordination between organizations. Nursing administrators who understand the process through which cooperative agreements between health care organizations are negotiated can plan, direct, and monitor the process. This article covers four major aspects of the negotiations process and their implications for nursing administrators.
