Comparative stress effects of vented and nonvented self-threading retentive pins
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry
|August 1, 1984
Abstract:
Longitudinally vented self-threading pins do not demonstrate a significant improvement in the complete seating of the pins or a decrease of dentinal crazing. The link series technique does demonstrate a significant improvement in the complete seating of pins and in the prevention of misalignment of the pins with the channels.
