    Summary

    Computed tomography (CT) is more accurate than sonography for diagnosing pancreatic pseudocysts and assessing their extent. CT identified more pseudocysts and had fewer inadequate or false-positive results compared to sonography.

    Background:

    • Pancreatic pseudocysts are a common complication of pancreatitis.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the diagnostic accuracy of sonography and CT in evaluating suspected pancreatic pseudocysts.
