Leiomyoma of the duodenum as a cause of acute upper gastro-intestinal bleeding
Abstract:
A case of severe acute upper gastro-intestinal tract haemorrhage arising from a duodenal leiomyoma is described. The literature on small-bowel leiomyomas is reviewed, and the importance of gastroscopy in acute upper gastro-intestinal bleeding is stressed.
