Abstract:
The motion of Dictyostelium discoideum cells during the aggregation-disaggregation process which takes place on polyacrylamide gels containing covalently bound glucosides was analyzed by directional statistics. The analyzed data suggest that negative chemotaxis is involved in the disaggregation.
