The present status of adductor spastic dysphonia
The Journal of Otolaryngology
|October 1, 1983
Abstract:
This paper presents the need for clinicians/researchers to come to some agreement on the use of the term "spastic dysphonia". The available literature reveals persisting difficulty both in the diagnosis of this disorder and in its management. Although recurrent laryngeal nerve section may be beneficial in relieving spastic symptomatology in some patients, it is certainly not the solution for all patients.
