Labour and delivery after a prolonged interval between the present and the last pregnancy
Abstract:
A group of 60 multiparae whose last pregnancy was greater than or equal to 7 years previously were studied with respect to various characteristics of their present labour and delivery and compared with a control group of 60 multiparae, matched for age and parity, who had intervals of less than 7 years between the present and last delivery. The results showed that a prolonged interval between pregnancies does not influence subsequent labour and delivery.
