    Background:

    • To investigate the epidemiology of SOM in healthy children aged 2.5-6 years.
    • To identify the role of specific rhinological parameters as predisposing factors for SOM.

    • Prospective clinical-epidemiological study of 2069 healthy children.
    • Assessment of rhinological parameters including nasal mucosa condition, secretions, septal deviation, and correlation with SOM and middle ear pressure.
