Abstract:
Spectral characteristics of the solutions in which UV-irradiated lymphocytes were situated were compared with those of non-irradiated ones. Irradiation of lymphocytes by non-lethal doses is followed by the release (by 11-15%) of substances, some physical-chemical properties of which are similar to those of glycoproteins. Some changes were registered in spectral characteristics of souluble extracellular proteins that seem to be albumins. The above effects are discussed in relation to their apparent role in therapeutic action of UV radiation.
