[Clear-cell carcinoma of the lung]

The paper describes electron microscopic results of examination of clear-cell pulmonary carcinoma in a man of 64. The presence of large amounts of glycogen in the tumor cells is typical for this malignancy and, according to the literature, is a diagnostic sign of clear-cell pulmonary carcinoma. The similarity between the ultrastructural characteristics of clear-cell pulmonary carcinoma and Clark cells suggests their possible genetic relationship.
