Care of the professional voice
Otolaryngologic Clinics of North America
|February 1, 1984
Abstract:
Care of the professional voice patient requires the skills of a general physician and those of the specialist combined in one person. The physician must have a good working knowledge of the anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology of the vocal tract. These patients require special understanding, assistance from a voice therapist, and, above all, time.
