The process and evaluation of clinical facility contracting

Clinical experience is an integral part of the education of health profession students and requires collaboration between educational and clinical institutions. In an effort to facilitate this collaboration, contracting with clinical agencies is conceptualized as the process of system entry. A model has been developed to help analyze this process, and appraisal criteria, written from the perspective of the educational institution, have been generated to allow for system self-evaluation of the entry process.
