[Age characteristics of central hemodynamics from radiocardiography data]
Abstract:
A study was made of the central hemodynamics in practically healthy persons aged 20 to 90 using radiocardiography. The results have shown that cardiac discharge decreases regularly with age, the time of the greater circulation and general peripheral resistance increase, the volume of the circulating pulmonary blood decreases in the presence of its practically unchanged general volume. The authors present data on the main indices of the central hemodynamics in men and women of various age groups.
