    Summary

    Immunoglobulin expression in diffuse large-cell lymphomas (DLCL) was investigated. Immunoglobulin-positive DLCL cases showed more advanced disease and shorter survival, suggesting a link between immunophenotype and clinical outcomes.

    Background:

    • Diffuse large-cell lymphoma (DLCL) is a heterogeneous group of non-Hodgkin lymphomas.
    • Accurate immunophenotyping is crucial for understanding DLCL biology and prognosis.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To characterize the immunologic phenotypes of DLCL using immunoglobulin and cell-surface markers.
    • To explore the potential correlation between DLCL immunophenotype and clinical parameters.

    Main Methods:

    • Frozen tissue sections from 30 DLCL cases were analyzed.
    • Immunohistochemistry was performed using immunoglobulin light and heavy chain reagents, T and B-cell antigen antibodies, and a macrophage esterase marker.
    • Immunophenotypes were correlated with clinical data retrospectively.
