[A case of pure erythroblastic aplasia effectively treated with immunosuppressive drugs]

A case of PRCA, refractory to corticosteroids and androgenes is reported. The patient presented persistent remission when treated with Cyclophosphamide. The review of the cases treated with immunosuppressive drugs proves that this treatment is effective and emphasizes the probable autoimmune pathogenesis of PRCA.
