[Anesthesiologic considerations in geriatric surgery resulting from our experience]

After considering the physiopathology of senescence, the Author, on the basis of his own experience, describes two anaesthesiologic modalities, congenial to the geriatric surgery: general anaesthesia by microdoses and peripherical anaesthesia, yet preferring the latter in the operative areas pertaining hereto.
