Intraocular implants
Abstract:
Statistics tend to show that there is a reduction in retinal pathology with extracapsular cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation. The technique has now been simplified by the introduction of sophisticated machinery, permitting continual inflow and aspiration. The posterior chamber implant gives the most satisfactory visual result, and at the present time this is the easiest to insert, in association with extracapsular cataract extraction.
