Thymosin-dependent T-lymphocyte response in inflammatory bowel disease
Patients with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis show altered T-lymphocyte counts. Thymosin treatment increased "avid" T-lymphocytes, suggesting a thymosin-responsive immunodeficiency in these inflammatory bowel diseases.
