    Background:

    • Meckel's diverticulum is a common congenital anomaly that can cause significant gastrointestinal bleeding in children.

    • Three pediatric cases (11-year-old boy, 8-year-old girl, 2.5-year-old boy) with bleeding Meckel's diverticulum were successfully diagnosed preoperatively using technetium Tc-99m pertechnetate scintigraphy.
    • Abdominal scanning proved valuable in managing patients with rectal bleeding, particularly after other diagnostic modalities like hematologic tests, radiography, and endoscopy had ruled out alternative conditions.
