[Projects for a better insane asylum replacing the "wiener narrenthurm" (author's transl)]

In the "Albertina" construction drawings of Lunatic Asylums (about 1826) have recently been discovered. They are carefully planned, but never executed. After a detailed description the plans were compared with about 15 mental hospitals and insane asylums, known in Wien today.
