A comparison of two fixation disparity targets

A simple homemade fixation disparity test is compared with the standard Mallett Test. Sixty-four clinical patients were tested and 25 percent of them were found to have fixation disparity on either one or both tests. Age distribution is shown. Comparisons are made as to the direction of fixation disparity and magnitude of associated heterophoria found with each test.
