Evaluation and treatment of patients with impotence
Journal of the National Medical Association
|September 1, 1978
Abstract:
Impotence is a common problem of adult males. Thorough history from both partners, physical examination, and laboratory work uncover a small minority who are suffering from an organic cause. The majority of such patients have a psychological basis for the condition. In the absence of demonstrated organic disease, psychiatric consultation is indicated. Surgery is helpful in erectile impotence.
