    Summary

    Giant pseudopolyps causing intussusception in ulcerative colitis necessitate surgery. Double contrast barium enema and colonoscopy are key diagnostic tools for this condition.

    • The intussusception was caused by an area of giant pseudopolyp formation.

    • Double contrast barium enema proved valuable in diagnosing the intussusception and pseudopolyps.
    • Fiberoptic colonoscopy provided complementary diagnostic information.
