[Ultrasonographic findings in intestinal occlusion. Report on 8 cases]
Journal De Radiologie
|June 1, 1982
Abstract:
Findings after ultrasonographic examination of occluded intestinal loops in 8 patients can be divided into four categories; anomalies of the caliber, wall, and topography of the occluded loops, and associated anomalies of peristalsis and peritoneal effusions. Associated with a straight film of the abdomen, ultrasonography enables a precise diagnosis to be made in the majority of cases.
