Liver scanning for studying the regeneration of the liver after operation
European Journal of Nuclear Medicine
|January 1, 1982
Abstract:
Scanning was used to study liver regeneration in 84 patients operated on for echinococcus liver disease. The conclusion was reached that after an operation on the liver the shape of the liver was the most difficult to restore and easiest was its structure. The degree of restoration of the liver is closely connected with the age of the patient, the postoperative period, and the number of surgical interventions.
