[A Draeger-universal ventilator with an extended capacity of ventilation]

We have compared an improved Draeger universal ventilator (UV 1) with the corresponding standard model. The improvement was carried out by Draegerwerk according to our directions. The improved equipment is able to provide an increased minute volume (about 50%) and increases, therefore, the respiratory reserve for problem patients.
