Abstract:
The main purpose of the paper is to show the importance of biography, within the framework of life-events and social needs. Gerontology always deals with life history, although this often is done quite in an one-sided manner. The author tries to characterise the relations between past, actual situation on future in social terms. Personality and its ideas about life play the most important role. The paper also refers methodical aspects of biography.
