[Development of preventive courses for parents in a socialist society]

After discussing the most important of the known parent training techniques the article draws attention to their innovatory value in connection with parent training work in socialist society. The basic purpose of such prophylactic parent courses and the methodological principles upon which they may be developed and organized are considered. Attention is finally drawn to the limits imposed by the dialectics of personality development on the success of such courses.
