[Giant gastric ulcers]

In 43 patients with giant gastric ulcer treated in the last 20 years in the Centenario Hospital, Rosario, we have verified important loss of weight and high incidence of ulcer's complications. "Pseudotumoral ulcers" were present in 30% and carcinoma rate reached 7%. We emphasize the importance of histologic study of the ulcer.
