    Background:

    • Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a severe genetic disorder characterized by progressive muscle degeneration.
    • Previous studies suggested a reduction in lymphocyte capping in DMD patients.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the phenomenon of reduced lymphocyte capping in Duchenne muscular dystrophy patients.
    • To determine if reduced lymphocyte capping is a primary feature of DMD or a secondary consequence of muscle damage.

    Main Methods:

    • Lymphocyte capping was assessed in patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
    • Correlation analysis was performed between lymphocyte capping, patient age, and serum creatine kinase (CK) activity.
