[The small fragment in the finger and middle hand region]

The fixation of mini-fragments in phalangeal or metacarpal bones after exact operative reposition is often very difficult. The use of pull-out-wires or Kirschner-wires leads often to a new dislocation or the fragment breaks. Such little fragments we fix with a synthetic glue (Histoacryl). The results are good. Infections have not been observed.
