Abstract:
A course on occupational health unique at the high school level is being given at an independent college-preparatory day school in California. The course content was initially included in the other offerings, but not has attained its own identification. Enrollment in the course is the largest in any elective offered at the school. Topics covered include all of the significant current issues facing occupational health professionals in the United States today, ranging from federal mandates to specific problems in toxicology.
