    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the impact of aging on circulating steroid hormone concentrations in postmenopausal women.
    • To compare hormone levels in postmenopausal women across a wide age range.
    • To elucidate age-related changes in specific steroid hormone classes.

    • Blood samples were collected from 155 postmenopausal women aged 34-83 with spontaneous ovarian failure.
