Colorimetric estimation of phospholipids in aqueous dispersions: addendum

Some improvements in the method for the estimation of phospholipids in aqueous dispersions (Hallen, R.M. (1980) J. Biochem, Biophys, Methods 2, 251--255) are described. Optimal conditions for preparing the molybdenum reagent, the use of solvents other than chloroform, and the possible application of the method for estimation of phospholipids in other systems are reported.
