[Retinal detachment with spontaneous reattachment (author's transl)]

A report on eight patients with retinal detachment in whom spontaneous reattachment occurred. The reattachment process was slow and was accompanied by massive subretinal pigmentations. Those patients who were examined had complete loss of function in the area of the visual field affected by the reattachment.
