[Modification of gold implant for lagophthalmos (author's transl)]

This paper presents a modified procedure for the treatment of paralysis lagophthalmos with gold weights. Instead of a single weight, a mosaic of smaller pieces is sewn into the superior tarsus in order to allow a better cosmetic result and an easier eversion of the upper lid when needed.
