Hens develop hypercoagulation 1-1.5 months after bursectomy. The time of blood coagulation and plasma recalcification reduce along with prothrombin and thrombin time. The fibrinogen and accelerator-globulin levels increase. Severe blood loss is followed by accelerated hemocoagulation in intact hens, while bursectomized ones develop secondary hypocoagulation.
