Renal cell carcinoma - a local experience

    Summary

    This review of 23 renal cell carcinoma cases found a higher male predominance than usual. Most patients presented with hematuria, and aggressive nephrectomy was performed on all cases, including those with metastasis.

    Background:

    • Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a significant health concern.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To review a series of 23 renal cell carcinoma cases.
    • To analyze the sex distribution, age, presenting symptoms, and metastatic status of RCC patients.
