Abstract:
A removable foot-switch has been developed to determine the different phases of the gait cycle and foot position on the floor. Each switch is connected to a resistor modulating the DC channel of a telemetry transmitter. The low cost and the long life expectancy of the switch made it valuable for kinesiological or biomechanical studies of locomotion and sports.
