[Vascular prostheses complications in autopsy material]

The early and late complications of vascular grafts in the Department of Vascular Surgery of Semmelweis University Medical School are discussed on the basis of a five year post mortem material. The mortality of the operations was 11.5%. Haemorrhage and infection are considered the most serious complications. The cause of the complications are discussed.
