Abstract:
Angiography of the celiac artery and its branches was used in patients with mechanical jaundice of different etiology. This method gave the correct preoperative diagnosis in 85.1% of patients. In cases of tumors of the pancreas head, Fater's papilla, gall bladder, cholelithiasis accompanied by mechanical jaundice characteristic angiographic features or their combinations were revealed.
