Demonstrating biogenic amine-containing cells in the avian lung by the paraformaldehyde perfusion technique

A paraformaldehyde perfusion technique is useful in studying biogenic amine-containing cells in the avian lung. In comparison to the frequently used lyophilization technique, the time required to prepare the tissue is greatly reduced.
