[Ectopic lacrimal gland under the bulbar conjunctiva]

Abstract:
In a 20-year-old female patient a small tumor (3 mm in diameter) was found in the upper nasal quadrant of the left conjunctiva bulbi. Lymphangiography showed that the conjunctival lymph vessels were ectatic. The histological study identified the excised material as tissue of the lacrimal gland.
