[Equipping radiological departments with closed radiation sources]

Now, medical institutions are busy with the reconstruction of standard radiological compartments with the purpose to adopt and introduce into practice the intracavitary gamma-therapy method performed by means of apparatus AgammaAT-B. The article gives a well-founded technological explanation of the planning decision and allocation of AgammaAT-B together with protective technological equipment for operation with closed radioactive sources in the compartments built by projects that did not foresee a space for this apparatus.
