[Effect of exogenous superoxide dismutase on lipid peroxidation in tissue homogenates under hyperoxia]
Abstract:
Single intravenous administration of the purified preparation of superoxide dismutase did not protect animals from oxygen impairment but decreased distinctly the lipid peroxidation in tissue homogenates (except of brain) in vitro. Addition of the superoxide dismutase preparation into homogenates decreased markedly the alonic dialdehyde accumulation in all the tissues studied, including the brain tissue.
