Abstract:
The Author recognizes, as a recent therapeutic method, the use of retrogasserian rhizotomy be means of thermocoagulation, the surgery of choice in patients suffering from essential trigeminal neuralgia, since it has shown to be successful in other cranial-facial pains in the trigeminal area.
