[Effect of 22Na on the zeta potential of malignant cells]

Membrane changes of Yoshida tumor ascites cells, "in toto" or centrifuged, were studied means of cytopherometric and istoautoradiographic techniques, by using various specific activities of 22 NaCl for different time intervals. This study shows the existence of a relationship between cellular membranes and cytoplasm labelled electrophoretic mobility and the Zeta potentials of the tumor cells. The presence of ascites liquid appears to be critical.
